Key Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Inventory Data Management

  2. Record incoming and outgoing raw materials, parts, and finished goods.

  3. Update stock levels in the inventory management system or ERP software.

  4. Assist in digital tracking of machinery components and spare parts.

  5. Stock Monitoring

  6. Help monitor stock levels and alert supervisors for reorder requirements.

  7. Support in conducting daily/weekly stock counts.

  8. Verify physical stock against system records (stock reconciliation).

  9. System and Software Support

  10. Enter inventory data into ERP, Excel, or in-house inventory software.

  11. Assist with barcode scanning systems or digital tagging tools.

  12. Help troubleshoot inventory system errors or mismatches.

  13. Documentation and Reporting

  14. Prepare basic reports on inventory usage, movement, and trends.

  15. Maintain organized digital records of stock receipts and issues.

  16. Document any discrepancies in stock or damage during handling.

  17. Process Support

  18. Assist in labeling, tagging, or storing machinery parts as per SOPs.

  19. Support inventory cycle counts and physical audits.

  20. Follow safety and handling procedures while working around machinery parts.

  21. Coordination

  22. Coordinate with procurement and production teams for stock availability.

  23. Communicate with vendors or logistics teams if required for stock queries.
  24. Support warehouse staff with system-related issues or updates.

Who We're Looking For

  • Recent B.Sc. Computer Science graduate Only
  • Strong interest in inventory systems, data handling, and business processes.

Skills & Qualities Expected from Freshers

  • Basic understanding of inventory processes or logistics
  • Good knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas)
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Willingness to learn ERP or inventory systems (SAP, Tally, etc.)
  • Teamwork and communication skills
  • Problem-solving mindset, especially for data discrepancies
