Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with engineering leaders to help define the requirements for executing our business and technology strategy.

Work with engineers to innovate and build new cloud systems, improve and enhance existing systems, and identify new opportunities to apply your knowledge to solve critical problems.

Participate in design sessions and lead code reviews with peers and developers to elevate the engineering quality within the organization, emphasizing observability, documentation, security, and risk management.

Refine and expand technical/architecture/design guidance documentation for team engineers to follow best practices, policies, standards, and procedures when building SW systems and services.

Mentor and develop other engineers on the team while learning new skills/attributes in the role.

Additional Necessary Skills:

"Go and figure it out" type of mentality.

Proficiency in React, Redux, and TypeScript, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work and projects.

Strong know how in Android or iOS App Development with Swift and/or Kotlin.

Demonstrated experience in building responsive and visually appealing web and mobile applications.

The ability to architect, implement, and deliver backend solutions written in Python in support of web and mobile applications.

Proficiency in containerization and orchestration of containers.

Expertise in database design, with a focus on platforms such as PostgreSQL, and Azure Cosmos DB.

Experience in setting up CI environments.

Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
