Job Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

  1. Should have hands on experience on detail engineering & Mechanical design calculations of static process equipment like pressure vessels, columns, reactors, storage tanks, heat exchangers etc. in accordance with Tender Specifications, national and international Codes and regulations like ASME SEC VIII DIV I, ASME SEC VIII DIV II, TEMA, PD5500, IS 2825, IBR, API-610, API-650, API-675, API-676, & IS Codes.
  2. Should be able to read tender documents and generate technical query if any.
  3. Should have experience in checking/approval of detailed fabrication drawings and bill of material.
  4. Should be able to prepare technical purchase specification for bought out items like Plate, Pipe, forgings, tube, fitting, etc.& critical requirement of material i.e SS, Non ferrous material .providing output to planning department to take advance action for procurement of material before drawing issued to them.
  5. Should be able to guide and monitor draftsmen in making of detailed drawings.
  6. Should be able to co-ordinate with client for all project related activities.
  7. Should be able to maintain control of Document for all submitted & approved design, drawing, Inspection & test plan, Weld map, WPS/PQR ,NDE procedures. 
  8. Should be able to do selection of rotating equipments like centrifugal pumps, dosing pumps, screw pumps, lobe pumps, Centrifugal fans, AC system package, material handling equipments, etc.
  9. Should be able to study client/consultant documents at tender/engineering stage.
  10. Should be able to prepare technical queries, technical bid evaluation, motor load list, technical compliance, etc.
