Job Summary:

We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Construction Laborer to join our crew. In this role, you will assist skilled tradespeople and perform a wide range of physical tasks on construction sites, including site preparation, clean-up, loading/unloading materials, and using hand and power tools. If you enjoy working outdoors, being part of a team, and building something from the ground up, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with site preparation and clean-up (e.g., removing debris, loading/unloading materials)
  • Operate hand and power tools (hammers, drills, saws, jackhammers, etc.)
  • Carry and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment
  • Dig trenches, backfill holes, or compact earth using equipment or hand tools
  • Assist carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other trades as needed
  • Erect and dismantle temporary structures like scaffolding, barricades, and shoring
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times
  • Read and follow basic blueprints, layouts, or verbal instructions
  • Perform other general labor duties as assigned by site supervisor or foreman

Qualifications:

  • Previous construction or general labor experience is a plus (but not required)
  • Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and follow directions
