Mandatory Requirement:

8+ years of experience in the insurance broking industry, with a focus on liability.

Job Overview:

The Director – Employee Benefits is responsible for leading the strategy, development, and execution of employee benefits programs. This role involves overseeing client engagements, managing benefit plan designs, and ensuring competitive offerings to attract and retain talent. The Director will also manage a team and collaborate with key stakeholders to optimize benefit solutions.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

Lead the design, implementation, and management of employee benefits programs (health, retirement, wellness, etc.).

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring customized benefit solutions.

Stay up to date on regulatory changes and industry trends to inform benefit strategies.

Manage and mentor a team of benefits professionals to ensure high service standards.

Collaborate with vendors, insurance providers, and internal stakeholders to optimize offerings.

Analyse cost and utilization trends to recommend enhancements and cost-saving measures.

Qualification and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

6+ years of experience in employee benefits or insurance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Strong knowledge of benefits regulations and compliance.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and team management skills.

Ability to analyse data and trends to develop cost-effective benefit strategies.
