Role Overview

We are looking for a
creative Video Editor

who can produce engaging and visually appealing video content for social media platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of storytelling, knowledge of social media trends, and the ability to transform raw footage into
scroll-stopping videos

for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and produce short-form and long-form video content for Instagram, YouTube, and other social media platforms.

  • Add transitions, effects, captions, and sound to enhance video quality.

  • Stay updated with the latest
    social media video trends and editing styles

.

  • Work closely with the content and marketing team to bring creative concepts to life.

  • Repurpose long-format content into multiple short engaging clips.

  • Maintain a consistent brand look and feel across all video outputs.

  • Manage multiple projects and deliver edits within deadlines.

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in editing software:
    Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar tools

.

  • Strong sense of timing, storytelling, and visual aesthetics.

  • Knowledge of color correction, sound design, and motion graphics.

  • Creative thinker with ability to adapt to evolving trends.

  • Familiarity with
    Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok-style editing formats

.

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines with attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Media, Film, Communication, or related field (preferred).

  • 1–3 years of experience

as a video editor (internship/freelance experience acceptable for freshers with strong skills).

  • A portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous editing work is required.
