Role & responsibilities
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Field Sales Engineer to join our sales team. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or one with a short experience who is passionate about Machinery Industry and eager to jumpstart their career in technical sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing to the growth of our client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand the company's products/services and their applications thoroughly.
- Conduct research to identify potential clients and generate leads within the assigned territory.
- Reach out to prospective customers through cold calls, emails, and in-person visits to introduce our products and explain their benefits.
- Engage in consultative selling by understanding clients' needs and proposing suitable solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients, showcasing the value proposition of our offerings.
- Develop and deliver sales proposals tailored to the specific needs of each client.
- Work closely with the technical team to address any queries or concerns raised by potential clients.
- Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to reach mutually beneficial agreements with customers.
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth strategy.
- Continuously update knowledge about industry trends, products, and competitors.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Provide regular feedback to the management team about market trends, customer preferences, and competitive insights.
Qualifications:
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical or equivalent.
- Strong passion for machines and a desire to pursue a career in technical sales.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse clients.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software is a plus.
