Technical Professional - Machinery / Packages

Incumbent will be supporting the Senior Engineer in specification of Process units, Utility packaged units including Boilers, Refrigeration Packages, , etc Familiarity with Material handling systems is desirable. Exposure to engineering of technology packages and FLNG/LNG and Offshore facilities is desirable.

  • Basic understanding of rotating machinery design
  • Perform technical bid evaluations under supervision of Senior Engineer.
  • Vendor drawing review and engineering coordination of technical information with vendors and company engineering specialists.
  • Willing to travel globally as required
  • Technical Skills acquired with experience includes some of the following
  • BE / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering field
  • 3-6 years of progressive experience, specifically in rotating machinery specification and selection
  • Working knowledge of current API standards for rotating equipment, particularly centrifugal pumps, centrifugal compressors, and auxiliary systems.
  • Experience with chemical, petrochemical, refining, and oil and gas projects is preferred, especially LNG liquefaction and offshore facilities.
  • Engineering contractor experience preferred
  • Computer proficiency in MS Windows and related MS Office productivity software
  • Additional experience with installation and commissioning is a plus
