About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven Billing Specialist to manage end-to-end B2B billing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background (CA/CMA) and hands-on experience in billing, reconciliation, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complete B2B billing cycle including invoice generation, validation, and posting.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of customer invoices as per agreed contracts and SLAs.
  • Review contracts/agreements to ensure billing is in line with commercial terms.
  • Track and resolve billing discrepancies, disputes, and escalations in coordination with internal teams.
  • Perform periodic reconciliations of accounts with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain records of billing data, credit notes, and adjustments for audit and compliance.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure smooth billing operations.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, and other applicable tax regulations).
  • Drive process improvements in billing, collections, and reporting.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and B2B billing processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/Accounting software (Oracle/Tally).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Eye for detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Eligibility

  • CA / CMA (Qualified or Inter) with 2+ years of relevant experience in billing/accounts.
  • Prior experience in B2B billing and reconciliations is a must.
  • Exposure to logistics, e-commerce, or service industry will be an added advantage.
