About the Role

We are urgently hiring an experienced Laravel Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience for our onsite development team in Kolkata. The role requires strong backend development expertise, solid understanding of the Laravel framework, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions within tight timelines. Candidates willing to relocate to Kolkata immediately may also apply.

Position: Laravel Developer (5 Years Journey Overview)

A suitable candidate should have the following experience over their 5-year Laravel development career:

  • Building and maintaining production-grade applications using Laravel
  • Strong understanding of MVC architecture, REST API development, queues, service containers, events, and middleware
  • Expertise in MySQL/PostgreSQL with strong database design and optimization skills
  • Experience with Laravel features such as Eloquent ORM, Blade, Passport/Sanctum, Scheduling, Notifications, and Jobs
  • Integration experience with third-party APIs, payment gateways, and authentication systems
  • Hands-on experience with Git, GitHub, or GitLab
  • Exposure to enterprise-level development practices and clean coding standards
  • Cloud deployment experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) will be considered a strong advantage
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Laravel-based web applications
  • Build secure, scalable, and clean REST APIs
  • Optimize backend logic, database queries, and application performance
  • Work with cloud service providers (AWS/GCP/Azure) for deployment and integrations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX, frontend, QA, and product
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis
  • Write clean, modular, testable code following best practices
  • Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning and code reviews
  • Mentor junior developers when required
