About the Role:

The Reel Factory is looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor who has strong knowledge of color grading, visual storytelling, and editing for social media, ads, and brand videos.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about creating visually stunning, cinematic videos that match brand tone and production standards.

Key Responsibilities: Video Editing

  • Edit videos for reels, commercials, corporate projects, events, and YouTube content.
  • Sync audio, clean footage, add transitions, and maintain smooth pacing.
  • Enhance visual flow using creative editing styles.

Color Grading (Most Important)

  • Perform advanced color correction and color grading for RAW and log footage.
  • Use LUTs, custom color curves, and adjustments for professional, cinematic output.
  • Maintain consistent color tones and visual quality across projects.
  • Work closely with cinematographers to match camera profiles.

Motion & Visual Enhancements

  • Add simple motion graphics, text animations, and visual effects when required.
  • Improve video quality using sharpening, noise reduction, highlights/shadows settings.

Project & File Management

  • Organize project files, proxies, and deliverables efficiently.
  • Maintain backups and follow factory workflow structure.
  • Deliver videos within deadlines.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro (must).
  • Good understanding of DaVinci Resolve for color grading.
  • Basic sound design, audio cleanup, and music syncing.
  • Ability to handle RAW/log footage from DSLR/Mirrorless cameras.
  • Creativity and visual sense in storytelling.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ year experience in video editing (agency/production house preferred).
  • Degree/diploma in Visual Communication, Media, Film Making, or related field.
  • Knowledge of After Effects or motion graphics (added advantage).
