We are seeking a creative and skilled Chef de Partie (CDP) to join the kitchen team at Hideout, a modern [casual dining/lounge/gastropub] concept. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, preparing high-quality dishes, and ensuring consistent taste and presentation. You will also assist in menu innovation, team supervision, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and kitchen efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of a designated kitchen section (grill, hot kitchen, cold kitchen, etc.).
  • Prepare and present dishes according to restaurant standards and plating guidelines.
  • Supervise and train Commis and Demi Chef staff in your section.
  • Ensure consistency in flavor, quality, and portion control across all dishes.
  • Follow standard recipes and assist in the creation of new dishes in coordination with the Head Chef.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in your workstation at all times.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of all ingredients (FIFO, HACCP compliance).
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering as needed.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff for smooth service during peak hours.

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in a professional kitchen, including at least 1 year as CDP.
  • Strong knowledge of [multi-cuisine / continental / modern Indian / bar food – customize as needed].
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
  • Ability to lead a small team and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operations.
  • Passion for food trends, plating, and customer experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in casual dining or gastropub environments.
  • Exposure to international cuisines, bar snacks, or modern plating styles.
  • Basic computer skills for recipe costing or kitchen inventory .

Working Conditions:

  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30, ₹40,000.00 per month
