About the Role

As a Senior Counsellor at LIT School, you will provide expert guidance and support to prospective students within your assigned program team. You'll work closely with the POD Lead to achieve program-specific enrollment targets, mentor junior counsellors, and contribute to the overall success of your POD team. You'll be responsible for handling 500+ pitches per cohort and achieving high conversion rates while maintaining exceptional student satisfaction.

ResponsibilitiesProgram-Specific Student Counselling

  • Provide comprehensive counselling to prospective students about your assigned program
  • Guide students through the enrollment process, addressing concerns and ensuring smooth transition
  • Build strong relationships with students to understand their goals and recommend appropriate programs
  • Achieve minimum high conversion rate from pitches with qualified leads to enrollments for your program

POD Team Support & Mentoring

  • Support the POD Lead in achieving program-specific enrollment targets
  • Mentor 2 junior counsellors within your POD and provide guidance on best practices
  • Contribute to team training and development initiatives
  • Foster collaborative team culture and optimize workload distribution

Performance & Quality Assurance

  • Handle 500+ pitches per cohort with high efficiency and quality
  • Maintain 95%+ student satisfaction onboarding score for your program
  • Track and report on key metrics (conversion rates, student feedback, enrollment numbers)
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on data and feedback

Strategic Contributions

  • Provide insights and feedback to improve counselling strategies for your specific program
  • Collaborate with POD Lead and other team members to optimize performance
  • Share best practices with other PODs for cross-program collaboration

Student Experience Management

  • Ensure exceptional student experience throughout the counseling journey
  • Collect and analyze student feedback for continuous improvement
  • Implement improvements based on student feedback and observations
  • Maintain high-quality counseling standards aligned with program requirements

Experience Required

  1. Educational Counseling Experience:
    Demonstrated experience in educational counseling or student recruitment
  2. High-Volume Counseling Experience:
    Experience handling 500+ student inquiries/pitches per quater
  3. Team Mentoring Experience:
    Experience mentoring junior team members in counseling or sales
  4. Conversion Rate Optimization:
    Experience achieving healthy conversion rates in student recruitment
  5. Student Satisfaction Management:
    Experience maintaining 95%+ student satisfaction scores
  6. POD/Team Collaboration Experience:
    Experience working in collaborative team environments
  7. Data-Driven Counseling:
    Experience using data analytics to optimize counseling performance
