Responsibilities:

  • Business Partnering:
  • Build strong and collaborative relationships with multiple teams and leaders (e.g. Businessteams, external stakeholders, marketing, supply, warehouse, etc) to understand businesspriorities and challenges.
  • Proactively identify and analyze key business drivers and trends impacting Logisticsperformance.
  • Translate business objectives into financial targets and track progress towards achieving them.
  • Provide insightful and actionable financial analysis to support decision-making across allaspects of the external marketplace business.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis:
  • Develop and maintain accurate and timely financial forecasts and budgets for the vertical.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Analyze the various activites across logistics and provide solutions for the overall growth of thecompany.
  • Prepare insightful presentations and reports to communicate financial performance andinsights.
  • Strategic Initiatives:
  • Support the development and evaluation of new initiatives and strategies includingdevelopment of business models for such initiatives.
  • Conduct financial feasibility studies and business case analyses for new product launches,marketing campaigns, and pricing strategies.
  • Identify and quantify potential risks and opportunities within the business.
  • Accounting & Control:
  • Responsible for the month-end close process for the business, including revenue recognition,expense analysis, and reconciliations.
  • Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the vertical's balance sheet.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
  • Monitor and analyze key financial metrics to identify and address any potential issues ordiscrepancies.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency andaccuracy of financial reporting and analysis.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial models and reporting dashboards.
  • Automate routine tasks to free up time for strategic analysis.

Qualifications:

  • MBA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field or a Chartered Accountant.
  • ~3-5 years of overall experience in financial analysis, with a strong preference for experience within the logistics industry.
  • Good accounting skills are a great plus.
  • Has an eye for detail and understand the challenges of exploring new business opportunities
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with business partners.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including data analysis and modeling techniques.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complexfinancial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
