Job Title Legal Associate or Senior Legal Associate
Job Location - Chennai
Position Responsibility
Monitors contract performance and compliance and recommends improvements and innovations to oversight of contract process to ensure contract accuracy
Reviews, drafts, revises, and negotiates all types of contracts and drive through in-house capabilities - Independently manage internal contract review and negotiation
3.Draft all kinds of commercial contracts for the different functions marketing, finance, procurement, channel partners etc and manages contract workflow in conjunction with Companys contract policy
4.Play an active role in Tender Review and risk consultation for cross functional team. This role also expands to guiding and advising the team through the life of the tender including post award life cycle which includes contracts, guarantees and etc
5.Partner with corporate company secretary team on corporate compliance and to secure compliance of business operations with relevant laws and regulations. This role also includes creating awareness campaigns /training programs to employees in areas not limited to contract drafting, negotiation, execution and etc
6.Advising on general business law issues and managing the legal issues of all areas of the company, including but not limited to corporate matters, procurement, safety, security, insurance, and sustainability issues
7.Be a business lawyer and assist in investment transactions
Works with internal and external customers, carefully obtains the requirements needed for each contract and prepares statistical analysis for contract review.
Applies formal, best practice methodologies to develop and implement contract strategies to support the contracting process.
Be open on other duties that may be assigned
Desired Technical Skills:
1.Corporate Law experience for at least 1 years M&A/PE/Commercial Contracting/Banking and Finance

4.Drafting of notices/responses to legal notices
5.Litigation Management
6.IP Management
