Role: Endur QA Automation Analyst – ETRM Focus

Location: Bangalore

  • End-to-End Test Strategy & Execution
  • Define and implement testing strategies (functional, integration, regression, deployment, EOD) with automation layers to ensure robust delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, BAs, SMEs, and developers to translate business needs into detailed test scenarios and automation scripts.
  • Automation Leadership
  • Architect and build scalable test automation frameworks using tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, JVS, OpenComponents, and scripted solutions (JVS/AVS).
  • Advocate for best-fit automation strategies to optimize regression testing efforts in an iterative delivery environment.
  • ETRM Domain Expertise
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of trading systems, energy commodities (Power, Gas, Emissions, etc.), and full trade lifecycle processes.
  • Apply this understanding to validate Endur modules—Trading Manager, Risk Limit Manager, EOD, APM, Back-Office, Reporting, etc.—ensuring high-quality, end-to-end testing.
  • Team Leadership & Governance
  • Plan and estimate test efforts; manage resourcing; report on test progress and quality metrics.
  • Mentor junior team members; enforce QA best practices across automation, testing techniques, and agile workflows.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience Profile
  • 5–10 years in QA with a strong test automation background, ideally in energy trading domains.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with OpenLink Endur/ETRM systems, including involvement in implementations, upgrades, or full trade lifecycle projects.
  • Technical Skills
  • Automation tools and frameworks: Azure DevOps, Git, test scripting (JVS/AVS), OpenComponents.
  • Strong command over SQL and Endur data model.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana or Azure Insights is an added advantage.
  • Bonus: Experience with Kafka, cloud technologies (Azure/AWS), AI/ML in trading context.
  • Industry Knowledge
  • Proficiency across FO, MO, BO trading workflows; strong domain understanding of ETRM lifecycle, regulatory processes, and structured commodities (PPA, green trading).
  • Soft Skills
  • Clear communicator with ability to align across technical and business stakeholders.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, resilient under pressure.
