Molecular Biologist

We are seeking a highly motivated Molecular Biologist with strong expertise in molecular cloning and protein expression. The ideal candidate should have a background in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related fields, with hands-on experience in designing and executing molecular biology experiments. The candidate will contribute to ongoing research projects, support technology development, and collaborate within cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and troubleshoot molecular cloning strategies for gene expression constructs.
• Perform protein expression, purification, and characterization using relevant techniques.
• Maintain and optimize expression systems (bacterial, yeast, or mammalian).
• Conduct standard molecular biology techniques such as PCR, qPCR, DNA/RNA isolation, gel electrophoresis, and sequencing analysis.
• Document research findings, prepare technical reports.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support development and innovation goals.

Qualifications

• Essential:

• MSc in Microbiology / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology (or relevant discipline).

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in molecular cloning and protein expression.

• Desirable:

• PhD in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong practical knowledge of molecular cloning, protein expression, and purification workflows.
• Experience with microbial and/or eukaryotic expression systems.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to independently design and troubleshoot experiments.
• Good communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with bioinformatics tools for sequence analysis (desirable).
