Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Global Workday Consultant specializing in Security and Absence Management. This role involves designing, configuring, testing, and supporting secure, scalable Workday frameworks and global absence policies, with a strong emphasis on EMEA-specific requirements. The consultant will collaborate with HR, Payroll, Compliance, and business stakeholders worldwide to ensure compliance, security, and seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Workday Security

  • Design, configure, and manage Workday security groups, domains, and role-based permissions to ensure least-privilege access.

  • Align security configuration with global and local compliance requirements in partnership with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT.

  • Perform regular audits to maintain compliance with internal policies (e.g., Segregation of Duties) and external regulations (GDPR, SOX).

  • Support release updates, testing, and implementation of security enhancements.

  • Serve as SME for security incidents, troubleshooting, and governance.

Workday Absence Management

  • Configure, test, and maintain global absence plans, accruals, time-off policies, proration, and eligibility rules.

  • Implement and support EMEA absence policies (maternity, parental, sick leave, statutory leaves) in line with country regulations.

  • Collaborate with Payroll to ensure accurate integration between absence and payroll.

  • Optimize and enhance absence processes, supporting release updates and ongoing improvements.

  • Provide functional support and issue resolution for absence-related queries.

Qualifications

  • Proven hands-on expertise in Workday Security (role-based security, domain policies, custom reports security).

  • Strong experience configuring and supporting global Workday Absence Management, with deep knowledge of statutory leave policies.

  • Solid understanding of compliance and audit frameworks (GDPR, SOX).

  • Ability to translate complex business needs into secure, scalable Workday configurations.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across global teams.
