Seva Bharati (R), a Mangalore-based NGO founded in 1993 by dedicated homemakers and service minded doctors, is committed to empowering Divyanga and marks 32 years of impactful service. We support individuals with disabilities, autism disorder, impaired vision, and senior citizens through multiple centers, including daycare facilities with physiotherapy & speech therapy along with other curriculum, a residential school for the visually impaired, and vocational training units. We are fully compliant with all necessary statutory regulations, including FCRA. Serviced 2,500+ individuals with disability directly, we have also sensitized 50,000+ people to the cause. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Madhava vana, montepadavu, naringana village, ullala taluk  for a Physiotherapist.
The Physiotherapist will be responsible for providing therapy services planned by the transdisciplinary team to children with special needs in Seva Bharathi physiotherapy centre. The role involves implementing individualized therapy plans to improve the quality of life for these children & to train the caregivers of these vulnerable children
. The individual will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals, Special educators , to ensure holistic care and optimal outcomes .

Qualifications

1.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy

2.

Prior experience in a clinical setting, community-based health programs, or a physiotherapy centre will be an added advantage

Role

1...Develop individualized therapy plans for each child using the findings from the baseline assessment

2..Provides regular therapy sessions to improve speech clarity, language development, social communication.

3.Guides parents on home-based practices,

4.Tracks each child's improvement, updates therapy goals, and maintains detailed records for IEPs

5.Proficiency in designing and implementing personalized therapy and rehabilitation plans

6.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to educate and support patients and caregivers effectively

7.Positive approach, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient care and outcomes
