Metallurgist - Female

Job Title: Metallurgist – Forging Industry (2 Years Experience) (preferable - female candidate)

Location: Marai Malai Nagar.

Department: Metallurgy.

Salary (CTC) : 25K to 30K

Reports to: CEO

Job Description :-

• Monitor and control forging process parameters to ensure desired material properties (grain flow, strength, hardness, etc.).
• Supervise and validate heat treatment operations (normalizing, annealing, & tempering, etc.).
• Conduct metallurgical testing and analysis, including microstructure analysis, hardness testing, tensile testing, impact testing, and grain size evaluation.
• Review and interpret material test reports (MTRs) and ensure compliance with standards such as ASTM, ASME, ISO, or customer-specific requirements.
• Participate in failure analysis and suggest corrective/preventive actions.
• Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams for process improvements and troubleshooting metallurgical issues.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to material specifications, process control, and quality compliance.
• Provide technical support during new product development (NPD) related to material selection and forging feasibility.
