Fitter Technician

Role & Responsiblity :

Allignment / fitment of pumps/ Fans / gear box/ compressor / Sinter machine/ conveyer drum/

hydraulic cylinder / pumps and its maintenance

• Take necessary clearance/work permit / shut down for the equipment maintenance
• Carry all necessary tools required to execute the job.

• Record all reading of alignment & assist concerned supervisor in updating the record in equipment

• Assist supervisor in carrying out condition monitoring of all equipment.

• Assist supervisor in normalizing the equipment after completion of alignment, clearing the work

permit & shutdown.

• Maintain housekeeping in all assigned area.
• Update the tools & safety checking of all tools.
• Report all unsafe act/unsafe condition, assist in mitigation act.
• Take all safety precaution of self as well as co-workers.
• Follow the standard work instructions.

Competency requirements:

6+ years hand on experince in maintenance of blast furnace/ sinter plant breakdown,
