Junior Underwriter

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Junior Underwriter to join our operations team in Kochi. The ideal candidate will assist in evaluating insurance applications, analyzing risks, coordinating with insurers, and supporting our processing and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and assess insurance proposals and supporting documents.
• Assist senior underwriters in risk analysis and policy issuance.
• Coordinate with insurance companies for quotations and approvals.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines.
• Support processing and claims teams with underwriting inputs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• 1–2 years of experience in underwriting or insurance operations preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and good understanding of insurance products.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
