As a Data Analytics Analyst within the Commercial Investment Banking Global Finance and Business Management organization, you will assist with data and management reporting development for regulatory operations. You will learn core business processes, build new data mart capabilities, develop metrics and management reporting, and provide decision support through ad hoc reporting and data analytics. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives that promote profitability and efficiency across the Commercial Investment Banking organization.

Job Responsibilities

• Define, monitor, and report key managements metrics around the health of an operations program
• Manage a high-volume and high-complexity reporting & dashboarding book of work, leveraging rigorous project management discipline
• Partner with senior leaders in advancing the business analysis and reporting agenda, focused on insights delivery in areas around operational efficiency, cost modeling, capacity planning, quality enhancements, etc.
• Define, design, and drive high priority strategic initiatives with senior level visibility in areas above - ranging from delivering business initiatives to engineering enabling capabilities
• Develop a deep understanding of systems and processes in order to extract insights from existing data while identifying and recommending IT enhancements to improve data quality
• Develop strong partnerships with IT application owners and data management teams to align on a roadmap for continual improvement while providing support around in-flight projects

Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills

• Need hands on experience with

• Programming languages: SQL, Python/R

• Data visualization tool: Qlik Sense/Tableau
• Analytical tools, e.g., Alteryx

• Knowledge of Distributed file systems, e.g., Hadoop, Hive. Jira & MS Office is plus

• Effectively communicate insights/recommendations (verbal and written)

• Team player with a demonstrated strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills

• Ability to understand business problems/processes and design solutions/methodologies that are rooted in data
• Ability to design and execute repeatable and scalable data solutions (extraction / mining / modeling / visualization)
• Graduate/Post Graduate preferably with Computer/Finance/Statistics as core areas
• Minimum 3years of experience, preferably in financial services or commercial banking
