Role Overview

Stocky Pro is  hiring a Django Developer / Engineer (4–5 years) to build robust, scalable backends and ship features end-to-end as part of an agile team.This is a full-time on-site role based in Bengaluru. The Django Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining back-end systems, contributing to software development projects, collaborating with front-end developers, and working with databases. The role includes debugging and optimising application performance, writing efficient code, and ensuring applications are secure and scalable.

Role Description

  • Develop backend using the Django framework.
  • Design and implement robust and scalable backend solutions.
  • Work with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
  • Design and optimise database schemas and handle migrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure functionality.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Must-haves

  • Experience: A minimum of 4 years demonstrable experience in Django development.
  • Strong understanding of the Django framework and its features.
  • Proficient in database design, management, and migrations.
  • Object-oriented programming (OOP) and software design skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in an agile development environment.
