Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Admission Officer to manage the student admission process and serve as the first point of contact for prospective students and their families. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to ensure a seamless and positive admission experience from inquiry to enrollment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inquiry Handling: Respond promptly to inquiries from students and parents through phone, email, and in-person meetings. Provide accurate and up-to-date information on programs, eligibility, and admission procedures.
  • Application Processing: Review, verify, and track student applications and documentation to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
  • Admission Guidance: Assist applicants throughout the admission and enrollment process, offering personalized support and addressing queries effectively.
  • Event Coordination: Organize and participate in admission-related events such as open houses, campus visits, orientation programs, and education fairs. Represent the institution in external promotional activities.
  • Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate applicant records in CRM systems and generate reports to analyze admission trends and performance.
  • Policy Compliance: Adhere to institutional guidelines and educational regulations, ensuring all admission activities comply with relevant policies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing teams on outreach initiatives and coordinate with academic departments to address applicant needs.
  • Process Improvement: Collect feedback from applicants and new students to identify areas for enhancing the overall admission experience.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Commerce background preferred).
  • Previous experience in admissions, counseling, or customer service will be an added advantage.

Essential Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (proficiency in Malayalam preferred).
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional demeanor and customer-first attitude.
