Specific responsibilities will include:1. Driving the development of some of the work streams listed above, including supporting the team with portfolio management,managing operations and compliance & donor audits.2. Stewardship of existing donors based on their giving capacity, in order to ensure repeat donations and upgrades.

This is the mainstay of Akanksha.3. Ensuring that the team keeps all proposals and documents up-to-date on the team site. Supporting all impact studies and audits and being the key resource for handling these from the Donor Relations team.4.

Working with the Communications team to ensure that all marketing collaterals are up-to-dateand effective.5. Working with other teams in the organization to ensure that the development team is abreast of the latest updates that could be relevant to development conversations.6. Working with various program teams and ability to build relationships and develop detailed understanding of the work we do.7.

A clear and deep understanding of CSR funding rules and regulations and developing a structured strategy to ensure donor retention and ensure a larger share of the donor funding commitment year on year.8. Cultivate relationships with individuals of various giving capacities, and identify meaningful waysto engage them in Akanksha's work.9. Allocation of donor funds to programs and projects in partnership with the Finance.10.

Supporting the budget mapping as well working on quarter utilizations for the donors. Co working with the team / supervisor on this.11. Tapping into various networks to increase the base of new donors.

What you need for this role:Experience:

  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience in client facing roles.
  • Prior experience with fundraising is preferred.
  • Sectoral exposure to corporates/ foundations and experience of working with HNIs preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong project management skills and ability to pay attention to detail and working in makingProposals , understanding numbers as well as working on making Logical framework for donors.

(should be comfortable with advanced Excel and numbers).

  • Commitment to excellence and accuracy, with an ability to make decisions in a fast-pacedenvironment.
  • Strong time management skills, a keen sense of urgency and an ability to accommodate multipleprojects simultaneously with tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage people working in high pressure situationsand environments.
  • Ability to coordinate with different functional teams.
  • Strong communication skills & presentation skills, both verbal and written (Should be able tohave good written skills to be able to work on reports and proposals).
  • Is a self- starter, displays initiative and drive for results.
  • Ability to source new leads through research, take the initiative and ownership to pursue them.

Education:

  • Post graduate in Marketing/Advertising/related fields.
  • Post graduate in Business Administration.
  • BBA / BMS , Degree / Specialised courses in Social sector.
