Role - Server Administrator

Responsibilities:

Manage servers - Windows and Linux.

Install, configure, and monitor systems and applications to ensure optimal performance and security.

Manage and troubleshoot issues related to servers and applications, promptly resolving them to minimize downtime.

Applications and database support

Perform system applications and data backups and disaster recovery planning to ensure data integrity and business continuity.

Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability, proactively identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and issues.

Document system and application configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.

Daily Checklist, reports.

Perform Window Servers updates

Maintain Application Security,

Technical Skills:

Knowledge and Experience in Windows Server Management 2003, 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2019

Knowledge and Experience in Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and 2022

Knowledge and Experience in Oracle 12c

Knowledge and Experience in Linux

Knowledge and Experience on IIS and Apache Tomcat

Qualifications

Bachelors degree .Computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Server Administrator or similar role, with a track record of successfully managing and maintaining multiplatform servers and applications on it.

Proficiency in administering and troubleshooting server, application, and database related issues.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
