Data Architect - Data Engineering, Power BI, Cloud (AWS)

Experience Required: Minimum 8 years

Role & responsibilities

  • Design scalable data architectures for the Data Management and Engineering areas using cloud technologies (AWS preferred)
  • Lead data modeling, data integration, and metadata management across systems
  • Collaborate with Shape Architects and cross-functional teams to align data strategy with business goals
  • Define and enforce data governance, data quality, and security standards
  • Drive data engineering best practices and automation across pipelines
  • Document and maintain data architecture blueprints, integration standards, and technical specifications
  • Strong expertise in Data Engineering and strong expertise in Power BI are must-have requirements

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Cloud Engineering: AWS (preferred), Azure, GCP
  • Data Engineering: ETL/ELT, Data Pipelines, Data Lakes, Lakehouse Architecture
  • Data Modeling: Conceptual, Logical, Physical Models
  • BI Tools: Power BI (Advanced), Tableau (optional)
  • Data Virtualization: Denodo
  • Data Governance: Master Data Management (MDM), Data Catalogs, Metadata Repositories
  • Programming: SQL, Python, Spark (preferred)
  • Architecture Frameworks: TOGAF, Zachman (optional)
  • Agile Methodologies: Scrum, SAFe
