Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Manager to lead all brand, event, content, and broader marketing initiatives at our Sikkim campus. This role requires a well-rounded marketeer with 4–7 years of experience, strong leadership skills, and an eye for quality across all marketing touchpoints. You will be responsible for driving MSU's brand narrative, overseeing impactful campaigns, and managing a creative team of three (photographer, videographer, and editors).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to strengthen MSU's brand presence at the Sikkim campus.
  • Plan, manage, and execute events, activations, and brand campaigns to engage students, industry partners, and the wider community.
  • Lead content strategy across digital, social, and offline platforms, ensuring alignment with MSU's brand voice.
  • Manage and mentor a creative team (photographer, videographer, editors), providing direction and ensuring high-quality outputs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (academics, admissions, placement) to align marketing initiatives with institutional goals.
  • Engage actively with students for content creation, events, and activities, building brand advocacy through positive experiences.
  • Develop student ambassador initiatives and partnerships with local creators to amplify brand reach.
  • Gather student insights to inform product marketing, ensuring campaigns resonate with the student community.
  • Monitor performance metrics, generate insights, and continuously optimise campaigns.
  • Ensure consistency in branding across all communication and touchpoints.
  • Stay updated on marketing trends and bring fresh, creative ideas to the table.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 4–7 years of diverse marketing experience, ideally in brand, content, and event management.
  • Proven experience in leading creative teams and delivering end-to-end campaigns.
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities.
  • Creative flair with a strong sense of design, aesthetics, and brand-building.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
