Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Network Administrator to join our IT team. The role involves end-to-end management of enterprise-level data center networks and security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining uptime, handling network and security operations, and supporting critical business applications. This position also requires active participation in new projects, from design to procurement and implementation, along with strong vendor and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Network Administration

Maintain and administer Data Centers, SD-WAN, and LAN networks

Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot routers, switches, and other devices

Hands-on experience with Cisco ISR Routers, Catalyst/Nexus Switches

Strong understanding of TCP/IP, HSRP, OSPF, BGP, SD-WAN protocols

Monitor and maximize network performance, identify and resolve issues

Handle WAN and LAN troubleshooting, incident resolution, and service restoration

Ensure proper change and configuration management compliance

Prepare reports, manage inventory, vendor payments, and budgets

Network Security

Administer and maintain network security infrastructure

Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot security devices (firewalls, DNS, proxy)

Hands-on experience with Cisco NextGen Firewalls and Proxy solutions

Strong knowledge of VPN technologies (S2S, AnyConnect VPN)

Optimize firewall rule base and review IPS signatures periodically

Regularly review access rights and web access profiles

Analyze and resolve security incidents, ensuring adherence to security policies

Train employees on security awareness and best practices

Projects & Vendor Management

Participate in new network and security projects, from design to implementation

Assess current capacity and plan for future requirements

Work with system integrators and OEMs for solution sizing and procurement

Manage the end-to-end procurement process (RFP, vendor negotiation, PO management)

Other Requirements

Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication (oral & written) and presentation skills

Ability to work under pressure and in rotational shifts

Self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team
