Job Description:

What you'll do:

The HPE Networking's - MIST Wired Assurance enterprise team is looking for an experienced backend cloud software developer (Senior Software Engineer) who also has a knowledge of Linux internals, REST APIs and who is interested in working on the industry's leading AI/ML solution that can troubleshoot and operate networks on par with human IT domain experts. This role will be responsible for working with various providers of data sources sending telemetry to Mist's Marvis AIOps solution as well as developing the customer facing APIs used by HPE-Juniper's application developers and customers.

What you need to bring:

Experience:

The ideal candidate for this position needs to have experience in the following areas:

• Strong background in developing production software in a cloud environment
• Development of multitenant cloud SaaS solution
• Overall experience of at least 12 years', with at least 4-5 years of hands-on experience in above areas.

It is also highly desirable to have experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Experience with networking in service providers and/or enterprises
• Experience with wired networking, such as switches, routers or gateways.
• Hands on experience in Microservices development covering APIs, schemas, serialization, data stores and best practices.

Skills:

The candidate needs to have the following skills:

• SW Languages: Golang (must), Python
• RESTful API design and development
• Data structures and algorithms
• Cloud software technologies (SaaS)

It is also highly desirable to have skills and a strong understanding in one or more of the areas:

• SW Languages: Java
• Shell Scripting
• Switching
• Routing

Personal Attributes:

• B.Tech/B.E in computer science / related discipline
• An entrepreneurial spirit
• Exceptionally self-motivated and directed.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
