The MICE Sales Manager / Executive is responsible for generating business from corporate clients through Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events. The role involves identifying potential business opportunities, developing client relationships, creating tailor-made proposals, and ensuring seamless coordination between internal departments to deliver successful group events and travel programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to acquire new MICE clients and grow existing accounts.
- Identify and target corporate clients, event agencies, and associations for group travel, incentives, and conferences.
- Prepare customized proposals and costings based on client requirements and budgets.
- Manage end-to-end MICE inquiries — from lead generation, negotiation, contracting, and confirmation to event execution.
- Coordinate closely with operations, ticketing, hotel, and transport teams to ensure smooth delivery.
- Attend client meetings, presentations, and networking events to promote MICE services.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Keep updated on destination knowledge, hotel offers, venues, and supplier networks.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and competitor analyses.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through professional communication and post-event follow-up.
