Designation: Software Engineer NodeJS

What you will do in this role:

●
Participate actively in the design and development process, creating architecture that is scalable and adaptable to support multiple customers with varying needs.

● Interpret business requirements provided by clients or business analysts and translate them into functional applications and supporting database schemas.

● Develop and maintain server-side applications using NodeJS, ExpressJS/NestJS, and TypeScript.

● Build robust and efficient REST APIs for various applications.

● Perform data modeling and manage SQL/NoSQL databases, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc. ● Implement microservices architecture and ensure effective communication between services.

● Integrate external services, including payment gateways, social media platforms, and more.

● Follow Agile development practices, including Scrum, for effective project planning and execution.

● Stay updated with new technologies and best practices, adopting them into the development process.

● Ensure code quality and application performance through the use of version control tools like Git

What qualifications you will need:

● Experience: 4-6 years of relevant experience in NodeJS, ExpressJS/NestJS, and MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB.

● Technical Skills:

o Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript programming languages.

o In-depth understanding of NodeJS with the ExpressJS framework or NestJS.

o Hands-on experience with ORM tools like TypeORM or Sequelize.

o Experience in building REST APIs and working with SQL/NoSQL databases.

o Knowledge microservices architecture and implementation.

o Basic front-end development skills and understanding of UI/UX interaction.

o Experience with SDLC, Agile development, and Scrum methodology.

o Understanding of asynchronous programming and code versioning tools like Git.

● Soft Skills:

o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

o Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

o Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and adopting new technologies
