As a Mechanical Design Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing Heavy Equipment, Automotive Engines, and Agricultural Equipment. Your responsibilities will include: - Utilizing CAD Tool: You should have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Creo 7.0, with expertise in: - Solid Modelling and Detailing - Sheet metal Modelling and detailing - Handling large assembly management - Parametric welding - Design Expertise: Creating Sheet metal components/assemblies using Part modelling, Advanced Part modelling, and Sheet metal modelling techniques as needed. You should also have experience in creating structural and weldment drawings, casting models, and machining drawings. - Technical Knowledge: You are expected to have knowledge of creating Flat pattern, Punch form, Die form, Bend order Tables, understanding welding symbols, and reading complex drawings. Additionally, you should be familiar with Sheet metal manufacturing processes and GD&T with ASME Y 14.5 standards. - Problem-Solving Skills: You should be able to identify vehicle integration issues in Layouts and execute Wind-chill PDM independently with minimal support. - Communication and Presentation: Good communication skills, both written and oral, along with effective presentation skills are essential for this role. Basic Qualifications: - B.Tech (Mechanical) / DME with first-class and a minimum of 60% marks. - Overall work experience of 3-5 years with a BE in the field of Heavy Equipment or Automotive Engine Design / Agricultural Equipment design.
