Integrations Data Specialist

Responsibilities
Role Purpose

• Develop and support SnapLogic pipelines and integrations across the organisation's application architecture within Agile delivery processes.
• Propose and implement integration solutions that align with our product roadmap and enterprise architecture.
• Support change and release management processes as part of the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with the team to transform the organisation's integration architecture and formalise best practice standards and methodologies.

Role Priorities

• Become familiar with existing applications, integrations, backlogs, and business processes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Undertake testing tasks, progressing to building and modifying SnapLogic pipelines and integrations.
• Progress from basic modifications to more complex integration solutions.

Key Accountabilities

• Design, develop, test, and optimise SnapLogic pipelines and integration solutions.
• Collaborate with developers and project managers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Perform data analysis and ensure data quality through validation and quality checks.
• Use DevOps tools for workload management and version control.
• Analyse and optimise integration performance for efficiency and scalability.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot integration-related issues.
• Create integration documentation and reports for projects.
• Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting for SnapLogic solutions.
• Evaluate and improve existing SnapLogic pipelines and integration processes.

What will help you succeed in this role?

Skills And Experience

• Minimum 3 years' demonstrable experience delivering complex integration solutions.
• Extensive experience with SnapLogic or similar iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) tools.
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and integration best practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and connecting cloud/on-premise systems.
• Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and data transformation.
• Experience with DevOps, version control, and automated testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Desirable

• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for SnapLogic scripting tasks.
• Exposure to data warehousing, data lakes, or big data platforms.
• T-SQL
• SSIS
