Job Summary

The Senior Associate Full Stack Engineer will analyze business requirements and functional designs, collaborating with business teams, BSAs, and other engineers to design and develop comprehensive systems and application software. This role will contribute to the development of innovative full-stack solutions using React JS, Node JS, TypeScript, and various database technologies.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs and contribute to the specification process to create solutions that enhance user satisfaction

• Participate in the estimation, design, and development of key system features, focusing on both frontend and backend architecture

• Design and implement larger enhancements, projects, and cross-system/functional integrations

• Develop and maintain code for full-stack applications, ensuring seamless integration between frontend and backend components

• Evaluate and recommend the adoption of new technologies and open-source solutions to improve overall application performance

• Write efficient, reusable, and reliable code, with a focus on both frontend (React JS) and backend (Node JS) development.

• Conduct code performance analysis, tuning,and review to ensure optimal application performance

• Ensure integration across various technical components and services, including microservices architecture

• Engage in peer reviews and adhere to standard coding practices across the full stack.

• Optimize application performance, quality, and responsiveness, particularly in both frontend and backend processes

• Identify and troubleshoot bottlenecks and bugs, proposing effective solutions

• Address production issues promptly, focusing on customer impact and preventing recurrence

• Drive certification processes while collaborating with cross-domain teams

• Ensure quality and completeness of deployments across the full stack

Qualifications

• Strong experience in building full-stack applications, preferably using React JS for the frontend and Node JS for the backend

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design principles, and architectural patterns, including REST API design

• Familiarity with various architectural styles, including microservices and API-first approaches

• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or NoSQL databases like MongoDB, including writing complex queries and optimizing database performance

• Knowledge of caching strategies and technologies (e.g., Redis, Memcached) to enhance application performance

• Hands-on experience in designing and implementing high-availability and high-throughput microservices and cloud-based services

• Experience with message brokers and event-driven architectures (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).

• Exposure to cloud-based SaaS/PaaS products and familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

• Understanding of web services and API design, including RESTful and GraphQL services.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes

• Experience working within agile methodologies and CI/CD frameworks, such as GitHub Actions

• Ability to adapt to different programming languages and tools as needed

• Strong communication skills to articulate ideas and design considerations effectively

• Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills

• Must-Haves: React JS, Node JS, TypeScript, PostgreSQL/MongoDB, 3+ years of experience.

• Nice-to-Haves: Experience with GraphQL, and microservices architecture
