Key Responsibilities:

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems, ensuring thorough resolution
• Perform manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and API platforms
• Conduct root cause analysis of defects and collaborate with development teams to implement corrective actions

Automation & Process Improvement

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using industry-standard tools (Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.)
• Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) testing practices
• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools

Collaboration & Documentation

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements
• Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test strategies, plans, and reports
• Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
• Provide regular status updates on testing progress, quality metrics, and risk assessments

Compliance & Standards

• Ensure all testing activities comply with organizational quality standards and industry best practices
• Maintain knowledge of relevant quality certifications and methodologies (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, etc.)

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance and testing
• Proven experience with both manual and automated testing methodologies

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in test automation tools (Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Cypress, or similar)
• Experience with programming/scripting languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar)
• Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI)
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN)
• Understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
• Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar)
• Knowledge of database testing and SQL queries
• Understanding of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of security testing practices
• Experience in agile/scrum development environments
• Familiarity with mobile application testing (iOS/Android)
