Manager-Online Safety

We are looking for a Manager-Online Safety to join India Child Protection (ICP). This role will work directly with the senior members of the team which encompasses Technology, Policy, and operations partners to further our mission of making online world safe for children.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform other duties as assigned to develop and deliver training modules for creating awareness amongst the law enforcement agencies.
  • To network and communicate with various LEAs for developing partnership for combatting the cybercrimes against children.
  • The incumbent will also be required to contribute to the delivery of training, workshops and conferences as required according to the project framework.
  • The incumbent shall finalize the training, workshops and conferences reports based on agreed timeline and perform any other duties as assigned by senior members of ICP.
  • To identify the gaps and assist the law enforcement agencies for effective investigation and prosecution of CSAM cases
  • To examine the efficacy of existing policies and lay out the groundwork for new areas of intervention for creating safe online space.
  • To review, develop and amend policy drafts and propose suggestions to improve the effects of existing policies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors Degree with specialisation in Cyber security/ information security, criminal justice, or related field required
  • Advanced degree in Cyber law, digital forensics, or related field preferred
  • Law enforcement or Government background is highly desired
  • Overseas experience, experience working with international entities, and familiarity with child protection issues preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Strong research, writing, and editing skills/experience required
  • 5+ years of Project management, workflow, time management required
  • Experience with project Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) desired
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required
  • Superior interpersonal, time management, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize, successfully complete multiple tasks with attention to detail, and meet deadlines
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient Hindi language spoken and written – required
  • Proficient English language – spoken and written – required

Project Cordinator

  1. Cyber Coordinator - Delhi

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for a Cyber Coordinators to join ICP. This role will work directly with the senior members of the ICP, Law Enforcement teams well as provide technical support to other states where the program is in operation to further our mission of making online world safe for children.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A person with graduation degree in field of computer science with specialisation in network cyber Security and forensics

  • Through knowledge of cyber security and cyber laws
  • Knowledge of OSCINT and other investigations techniques
  • Preference would be given to candidates with 3 years experience in the field of cyber security/ forensics / network security / darknet or Peer to Peer platforms
  • Candidates with lesser experience would be considered for Officer position

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Strong research, writing, and editing skills/experience required
  • 3+ years of Project management, workflow, time management required

3.Cyber Safety Officer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To develop and deliver training modules for creating awareness amongst schools and communities.
  • The incumbent will also be required to contribute to the delivery of workshops and conferences as required according to the project framework.
  • The incumbent shall finalize the training reports based on agreed timeline and perform any other duties as assigned by senior members of ICP.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Technical Ideally, a basic interest in and understanding of how websites and content distribution over the internet works and the fundamentals of online security/personal security on the web. However, they do not need to be a technical expert.
  • Legal Able to assimilate and apply the relevant legislation. The person should also be comfortable presenting to stakeholders such as schools. This will include the ability to describe and discuss graphic content in a factual and pragmatic tone.
  • Subject-matter Experience with some aspect of combatting child sexual exploitation is not essential but can be very beneficial.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A person with graduation degree in field of Law, Criminology, Psychology, Social Work, or Computer Science.

  • A basic understanding of website technology, online security, and personal security on the web, which can be acquired through online courses, certifications, or workshops.
  • Experience in working with child victims or in related sectors such as social work, law enforcement, or child protection would be an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to present information to stakeholders such as law enforcement, in a factual and pragmatic tone.
  • The ability to work in a team, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and maintain confidentiality is also important
