The ICU Incharge will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Intensive Care Unit, ensuring high-quality patient care, supervising nursing staff, coordinating with doctors, and maintaining compliance with hospital policies and medical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage ICU staff including nurses, technicians, and support staff.
- Monitor critically ill patients and ensure timely medical interventions.
- Allocate and assign duties to ICU staff, ensuring proper shift rotations.
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and ICU safety standards.
- Coordinate with doctors, anesthetists, and other specialists for patient treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records, reports, and ICU documentation.
- Provide training, mentoring, and performance evaluations of nursing staff.
- Handle emergency situations effectively and ensure the availability of required equipment and medicines.
- Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of ICU equipment.
- Maintain communication with patient families and provide updates regarding patient condition under hospital guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills:
- B.Sc / M.Sc Nursing with valid Nursing Registration.
- Minimum 5–7 years of nursing experience with at least 2–3 years in ICU.
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of ICU protocols, emergency handling, and patient care standards.
- Ability to work in high-pressure and critical situations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹40, ₹50,000.00 per month
