Job Title: Software Tester (Entry Level)

Location: Madurai (Onsite)

Employment Type: Full-time

Experience: 0–1 Year (Freshers welcome)

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Software Tester to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing test cases, identifying bugs, and ensuring the delivery of a high-quality product.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze project requirements to identify test scenarios
  • Prepare and execute manual test cases
  • Perform functional, regression, and UI testing
  • Identify, document, and report defects/bugs to the development team
  • Re-test resolved issues and verify fixes
  • Work closely with developers to ensure issues are reproduced and resolved
  • Maintain test documentation and update test cases as requirements change
  • Ensure the application meets defined quality standards before release
  • Prepare and share test reports with the team

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of SDLC & STLC
  • Knowledge of manual testing concepts and methodologies
  • Ability to write clear test cases and test scenarios
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow processes
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is an added advantage

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
  • 0–1 year of experience in software testing (Freshers can apply)
