Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled API & Integration Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in API testing, integration testing, and automation testing, particularly using the Robot Framework and Python. Familiarity with DevOps practices is essential for this role to ensure seamless integration and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for APIs and integration points.
  • Utilize the Robot Framework to create automated test scripts for functional and non-functional API testing.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand application architecture and design effective test strategies.
  • Perform thorough regression testing and integration testing to ensure system reliability.
  • Analyze test results, report issues, and work with stakeholders to resolve defects.
  • Integrate testing processes within CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker).
  • Maintain and improve test automation frameworks and processes.
  • Document testing processes, results, and provide detailed feedback to development teams.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall quality assurance process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3 to 7 years of experience in API testing and integration testing.
  • Proficiency in Python programming language.
  • Hands-on experience with the Robot Framework for test automation.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services testing.
  • Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Docker).
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
