Role Description (Generative AI–Focused)

We're hiring a
Python Generative AI Engineer
for a
full-time, on-site
role in
Ludhiana
. You'll design and ship LLM-powered features end-to-end: prompt frameworks, retrieval (RAG), fine-tuning/LoRA, evaluation & safety, and fast inference APIs. You'll work closely with product and engineering to move from prototype to reliable production.

What you'll do

  • Build
    LLM applications
    : system/prompt design, tool use, multi-turn memory, guardrails
  • Implement
    RAG
    pipelines (chunking, embeddings, vector search, reranking, citations)
  • Train/finetune with
    LoRA/QLoRA
    ; run experiments, track results, and optimize token/latency cost
  • Package models behind
    FastAPI
    services (streaming, batching, retries, tracing)
  • Set up
    evaluation harnesses
    (quality, latency, p95, safety) and red-team tests
  • Work with
    MLOps
    : version datasets/models, monitor drift, and automate deployments (Docker)
  • Collaborate on product specs; document clearly for handoff and maintenance

Qualifications

  • Strong
    Python
    (typing, async, testing) with
    FastAPI/Flask
  • Hands-on with LLMs
    (OpenAI/Anthropic/Hugging Face),
    prompt engineering
    , and tool calling
  • RAG experience:
    pgvector/Pinecone/Weaviate
    , embedding models, chunking strategies, reranking
  • Familiarity with
    PyTorch
    or
    TensorFlow
    ;
    LoRA/QLoRA
    , bitsandbytes/quantization a plus
  • Solid grounding in
    Statistics/Algorithms/Pattern Recognition
  • Comfortable with SQL
    ,
    Git
    ,
    Docker
    , and on-site collaboration
  • Bachelor's/Master's in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience

Nice to have

  • LangChain / LangGraph / LlamaIndex
  • Safety/guardrails (prompt filters, policy checks), eval tools (RAGAS/TruLens)
  • Vectorized ETL, PII scrubbing, OCR pipelines
  • Cloud (AWS/GCP) or VPS deploys; CI/CD basics
  • Multimodal (vision/OCR/VLM) or small-model (7B and under) experience
