About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of experience in the garments/textile industry and a strong background in production follow-up, quality control, and coordination. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth communication between production teams, subcontractors, and customers—ensuring timely delivery of high-quality garments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily production activities and conduct quality control at all stages.
  • Prepare and review weekly production status reports with the merchandising team.
  • Identify potential production issues or delays in advance and take proactive measures.
  • Coordinate with merchandisers and subcontractors for production changes or amendments.
  • Conduct quality inspections during fabric, initial, and in-process production stages.
  • Manage lab dips, lots, and sample submissions to customers for approval.
  • Ensure seamless coordination among production, quality, and merchandising teams to meet delivery timelines and quality standards.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience as a Merchandiser in the garments or textile industry.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and garment construction.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with teams, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Skilled in preparing and analyzing production reports and implementing corrective actions.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work under deadlines.
  • Knowledge of lab dips, samples, and approval procedures in garment manufacturing.
