Job Description

You may have been working as a Senior Software Engineer in Test, Senior Test Engineer or Test Analyst who is confident in their ability performing automation testing. You will be responsible for designing and implementing automated tests using various tools for client applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading a scrum team and own complete delivery of that scrum.
• Managing Test creation, execution, defects, retests, sync with BAs for requirement clarity.
• Build automation using selenium, Java and Cypress tool.
• Representing team in all scrum meetings and own the discussion.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
• Defining and execute test strategies and test plan.
• Develop Automation framework and maintain automated test scripts for various applications.
• Test case review and automation code review.
• E2E system automation by adopting automation strategy and best practices of automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Reviewing test environments and processes to facilitate continuous improvement and maintenance of quality standards.
• Providing test estimates

Qualifications

• Total 5-7 years of manual + Automation QA experience, out of which 3 years of recent working experience in selenium+Java and Cypress automation.
• Hands-on experience on creating automation framework and Implementation.
• Working in Agile and deep understanding of Agile working and understanding of agile terms (Velocity, Burndown, Scrum, Sprint, Product backlog and Sprint Backlog, Retro, story points etc)
• Strong testing concepts in different types of testing, their dependencies and stages
• Demonstrated experience of Automated Quality Assurance: Deliver overnight, cross-browser, functional, non-functional, API, integration and acceptance tests.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI).
• Experience in Test scope understanding, Test UserStory/Task/subtask creation
• Experience in Test case review and automation code review
• Good understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
• Delivered front end cross-browser automated functional testing, exploratory, systems integration and user acceptance testing.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI).
• Confident with building and maintaining frameworks in one or more of these languages: Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#
• • Experience with other test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, WebDriver, JUnit).
• Any performance testing experience or other non-functional testing experience would be added advantage.
• Testing Tools and Technologies: Appium, Docker, Kubernetes, Postman, Jenkins, Java, Eclipse / IntelliJ IDEA, Linux, TestNG, Selenium, SQL
• Very good Database testing experience, writing queries, views, joins etc..
