Character Generator

• Prepare and design on-screen graphics such as name straps, tickers, lower thirds, logos, and breaking news animations.
• Operate CG software (like VizRT, Chyron, or Ross Xpression) during live news bulletins or recorded shows.
• Coordinate with producers and directors to ensure correct timing and placement of graphics.
• Check spelling, accuracy, and formatting of text and visuals before broadcast.
• Update real-time data such as scores, results, or election tallies during live coverage.
• Ensure smooth integration of CG elements with video feeds and other broadcast systems.
• Maintain and organize graphic templates for different shows or events.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to CG systems before or during broadcasts.
• Assist creative team in designing promotional or branding graphics when needed.
• Stay updated on new software and visual trends to enhance broadcast quality.
