Role & responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the building up of and maintenance of the libraries of different components of ships, like luxury motor yachts in Siemens NX.
  • Draw the right dimensions of the example drawings given of components to qualitatively fill and build the library

  • Make 3D models and detailed 2D mono drawing for mechanical parts with an eye for details

  • Material knowledge

  • Machining knowledge
  • Welding knowledge
  • Finishing knowledge

Preferred candidate profile:

  • 8 years of work experience as Mechanical Engineer
  • Of which 5 years with Siemens NX
  • 3 years experience with shipbuilding - outfitting, alternatively in machine building.
  • Stainless-steel parts in marine environments
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Zoom
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Siemens NX
  • Experience with building libraries in Siemens NX
  • Broad interdisciplinary technical insight
