Roles and Responsibilities Cloud Engineer: Configuration and Management of On-prem / Public cloud setup, VM resource management, System administration

Job Requirements
• Experience in securing and working with any one of the operating systems like windows, RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS and any one of the hypervisors like VMWare, Ovirt, etc.

  • Good Experience with any virtualization or containerization solutions (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box, OpenStack, Kubernetes, Openshift, etc.)
  • work experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role
  • Knowledge of SAN, DAS, NAS, and other storage solutions
  • Experience of creating any scripts (e.g. using Perl, Shell, Python) and setting up of software for automation
  • Able to assess, analyse, customize, automate and troubleshoot with any tools, opensource software, commercial software, etc. for organizational requirements.
  • Understanding of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, SYSLOG
  • Knowledge of any security solution such as EDR/XDR/NDR, SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, DLP, Antivirus & Endpoint security
  • Working experience with IT infrastructure and Data Centre Services.
  • Must have excellent reporting and analytical skills.
  • Ensure strict confidentiality of data and security of IT systems.
  • Excellent oral/written communication and documentation skills,
  • Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Candidate should be willing to travel anywhere in India for support activities. Should be able to handle the clients efficiently for deployment of C-DOT solutions.
  • Open to learn the new technologies
  • Working knowledge and willing to track the resolution of issues on Ticket Monitoring system with stringent response time

Certification Azure, AWS, GCP, etc. cloud certifications shall have an advantage.
