Description
Apple IS&T is looking for a Swift Engineer to build intuitive, high-quality applications that improve employee productivity and workplace experiences. You will work with versatile engineers in a dynamic, technically demanding environment. You'll be expected to demonstrate creativity in problem solving with the ability to think quickly to come up with solution in time-condensed situations. You should be self-motivated and passionate about driving forward the customer experience. We promote the ability for you to experiment with new Apple technologies that can have a strong impact on the applications our team produce

Minimum Qualifications
4 to 8 years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years developing and shipping using Swift, SwiftUI.

Expertise in building high-quality iOS and macOS apps, focusing on exceptional user experiences for consumer-facing products.

Proficient with project management tools, Git, and tools like Xcode, Instruments etc for efficient project delivery.

Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, enterprise architecture, and software engineering principles.

Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with experience using technical metrics to improve app performance, stability, and user satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications
Deep knowledge of the iOS and macOS ecosystem, software development lifecycle, and modern practices like unit testing, UI testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

Consistent track record to handle numerous projects, prioritize tasks, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills and strong ownership, collaborating effectively with product managers, designers, and engineers.

Track record of driving innovative, scalable solutions to optimize iOS and macOS app performance and enhance user experience.

Experience building and launching iOS and macOS apps for large-scale platforms, focusing on customer experience and shopping efficiency.

Strong influencing and relationship-building skills, aligning partners across teams to drive technical and product goals.

Analytical and persistent problem solver, passionate about innovating and improving user-facing iOS and macOS apps.

Skilled at explaining complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
