Job Description
Bachelor's in engineering with 2 to 4 years of experience in the automotive / mechanical.
Building attribute library for Fasteners / turn parts / Ferrous nonferrous material's / Castings and Forgings
Generating Ideas based on library created and high spend items as follows
Suggest alternate material
Suggest alternate processes
Supplier negotiations
Suggesting alternate supplier
Part rationalization
Part commonization
Prepare presentation
Discuss with commodity managers and plant engineering team.
Add the project in to hopper (Stage 0)
Handover the project to engineering team (Stage 1)
# Required:
1. Strong knowledge in Finding out gaps for cost out (VAVE) Component, Creating cost out proposals.
2. Power BI / Excel
3. Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
