About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced DDI Engineer with expertise in Infoblox solutions to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and managing enterprise-grade DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (IPAM) services using Infoblox technologies. You will play a key role in ensuring the availability, scalability, and security of our DDI infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and manage Infoblox DDI solutions (DNS, DHCP, IPAM).
- Troubleshoot complex DNS, DHCP, and Grid-related issues and ensure 24/7 service availability.
- Implement and manage security features such as DNS Firewall, RPZ, and Threat Protection.
- Administer IPAM, perform capacity planning, and integrate Infoblox with other network tools.
- Act as a Level 3 escalation point; conduct root cause analysis and remediation for incidents.
- Drive automation and scripting efforts to streamline DDI operations and tasks.
- Collaborate closely with network and security teams to align DDI design with corporate standards and policies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing Infoblox DDI environments in enterprise settings.
- Strong understanding of DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and DNS security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Infoblox Grid architecture and high availability configurations.
- Proficiency in automation/scripting (Python, Ansible, REST APIs, etc.) is a plus.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices, change management, and service operations.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Infoblox certifications (e.g., Infoblox Certified DDI Professional - ICDP).
- Experience integrating Infoblox with tools like ServiceNow, Splunk, or SIEM solutions.
- Exposure to cloud-based DNS or hybrid DDI environments (e.g., AWS Route 53, Azure DNS).
